The fight against environmental crime: theory and practice

In this article the author discusses the issues related to combating environmental crimes in Russia. The ways of solving this problem by using existing criminal code provisions in the form of a more rational design of the sanctions of the criminal law. The article presents statistical data on the Russian Federation, and for the Primorsky Krai, revealed problems of practical criminal investigation environmental focus.
